Ifor Jones has managed midland Stillwater fly fisheries since 1982 Ifor & all the fishery staff at Thornton, Draycote & Eyebrook are keen anglers and are well placed to offer advice & guidance.
Ifor Jones has also fished abroad in North America, Montana, Alaska (Salmon, Trout, Grayling, Pike) & Mexico (saltwater) and is able to advise on the fly fishing tackle required for those trips abroad, Ifor can also recommend guides & occasionally organizes his own trips email Ifor [email protected]
Fishery staff Tom Bird & Lee Henfrey have represented their country fly fishing on Stillwaters & rivers and have the depth of knowledge to advise you, with Jim Wright & Lloyd Thompson having fished competitively for various teams & have a wealth of knowledge that experience brings.
We will be developing our fly tying materials offered at the Eyebrook lodge & online store with Tom Bird, Jim Wright, Lloyd Thompson & Martin Blackstone the tyer of the popular Blackstone buzzer along with Lee Henfrey vast knowledge of sinking lines & Fry patterns & Andy Miller knowledge of all things fishy, trout & pike at the Eyebrook are the people to talk too.
